Beatrice de Graaf appointed faculty professor of Humanities

Historian Beatrice de Graaf (History and Art History) has been appointed faculty professor at the Faculty of Humanities by the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, in consultation with the head of the Department of History and Art History. De Graaf is professor of History of International Relations and Global Governance. She plays an important role within the Strategic Theme Institutions for Open Societies and is one of the leading figures within the hub Security in Open Societies. She also participates in the Centre for Global Challenges. With the appointment of Professor de Graaf as faculty professor, the faculty underlines the great value it attaches to the connection between science and society.
