Founder and Head, Innovation Think Tank at Siemens Healthineers; Faculty, Program Director and Advisor roles in 20 institutions worldwide (universities, hospitals and MoHs)
Following the invitation from Dr. Narinder Paul and after our successful implementation of #InnovationThinkTank (ITT) in #Canada last year, we are proud to conclude the 154th Innovation Think Tank Certification Program, hosted by Siemens Healthineers Canada in collaboration with healthcare institutions in city of London, ON, as well as in #Uganda and #Kenya. The concepts of “frugal biomedical innovation” were woven throughout this program to encourage the design of sophisticated products, services, and systems that can impact consumers in remote and low resource settings. 47 interdisciplinary participants from 10 different institutions and 16 countries attended the 9-day ITT Certification Program. The teams received a comprehensive training on ITT innovation management methodology and inputs from Key Opinion Leaders on selected project workstreams surrounding #AccesstoCare topics (1. Innovative medical equipment/services, 2. Infrastructure development for underserved patient groups and 3. Diagnostic tests in low-resource settings). Congratulations to all the teams on successful completion of the program!
