This release presents post-16 learner participation and achievements in further education (FE) and skills in England.

It includes statistics reported to date for the first 2 quarters (August 2018 to January 2019) of the 2018 to 2019 academic year on adult government-funded FE (excluding schools and higher education) comprising:

  • education and training
  • English and maths
  • community learning
  • traineeships (aged 16 to 24)
  • all age (aged 16 and over) apprenticeships
