About

Hi! I’m Yilin Li (李奕霖), a second-year master's student at the University of Amsterdam’s Korteweg-de Vries Institute for Mathematics with the specialization Discrete Mathematics (and Quantum Information). My study mainly focuses on Discrete Mathematics and Optimization. I will start my master's project on dense induced subgraph from February 2024 and my supervisors are Dr. Ross Kang (UvA) and Prof. Dr. Daniel Dadush (CWI, Amsterdam and Utrecht University).

Previously, I obtained a B.Sc. (Honors) in Mathematics with Applied Mathematics from the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) in July 2022.

I'm interested in Discrete Mathematics in general, in particular Probabilistic and Extremal Combinatorics, Graph Coloring, Discrete Probability, Random Graphs, Algorithms and Complexity, with their application to game theory and OR. My study is theoretical but I also would also like to investigate the social impact of my study.

You could find my CV here.

You could find my graduate courses here.
