The sports dictionary is a multilingual vocabulary trainer for all sports enthusiasts. What to expect: 17 chapters, over 150 terms, 10 different languages. The app offers you all the important vocabulary from everyday sports, such as bathing cap, free kick or competition. In addition, the app contains brief explanations on the question "What is a sports club" and information on "Simple language".

The translations of the terms are available in ten languages:

Features:

You can select your desired language and have the terms translated into all available languages. Individual terms can be selected using the search function. Symbols (icons) make it easier to recognize and understand the terms.

All words are voiced in the available languages. So you not only learn the terms, but also how to pronounce them.

-Favorites-
You can add individual words to your favorites. This allows you to call up the most important terms in an overview.

The app was created in cooperation with the LandesSportBund Niedersachsen e.V. and the Landessportbund Nordrhein-Westfalen e.V. The Federal Ministry of the Interior and Community funded the app as part of the federal program "Integration through Sport". The app is based on the sports dictionary of the State Sports Association of North Rhine-Westphalia. An update with additional terms and languages ​​is planned.
