Endorsed and affiliated groups

PAGES endorses and affiliates externally managed groups and organizations whose aims directly correlate with our science agenda.

Endorsed groups

Endorsement by PAGES recognizes our common goals and often entails collaboration in research efforts, sharing of resources, joint publications and/or combined workshops and meetings. PAGES does not take a managing role in the decision making process of the endorsed programs, but is kept informed of key outcomes and decisions, primarily via a short annual update to the PAGES SSC.

Affiliated groups

Affiliation denotes a less-formal connection where both the affiliated group and PAGES recognize they have an affinity on some goals or activities. From time to time, PAGES may promote some of the affiliated group’s relevant activities but is unlikely to give input on the affiliated group’s science or strategy or collaborate closely as we may in the case of endorsed groups. Affiliated groups are required to provide a very short annual update to the PAGES SSC.

To apply to become an affiliated PAGES group, send an email to the Executive Director or Science Officer outlining your project. PAGES may also identify and invite certain groups to become affiliated from time to time.
