Welcome

We are pleased to welcome you at the Plant Science Student Conference (PSSC), taking place from July 3rd to July 4th 2023 at the Leibniz Institute for Plant Genetics and Crop Plant Research (IPK) in Gatersleben, Saxony-Anhalt.

The conference will comprise two days full of fascinating talks, workshops and social activities. The scientific program will be enriched by the participation of keynote speakers, who will not only introduce you into various fields of scientific research but also into science communication and some basic social skills, we all need for our scientific work.

In addition to PhD students from the IPK Gatersleben and the IPB Halle, PhD students from the CEPLAS program and (after April 3rd) all throughout Germany are invited to take part in the conference. As this is a PhD student conference, first year students who do not yet have final results are also invited to present their topic and introduce into the planned approaches of their research. Other PhD students may have valuable suggestions for you!
