The psychosocial impact of Covid-19 emergency on healthcare workers

The H-WORK project will address the impact of Covid-19 on mental health in public health institutions with specific actions at the two health intervention sites: implementation of a tailor-made organisational response including psychological support through digital solutions, regular follow-up of workers and specific support for their return to work.

Supporting workers return to work after Covid-19 emergency

Since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, there have been many concerns raised about the mental health of workers due to the rapid changes to work and life. The IGLOo framework focuses on the resources within the individual, group level, leader/line manager level and organizational level, in order to develop and implement action plans to support sustainable return to work.

H-WORK enters its implementation phase: the need analysis

In September 2020, the H-WORK project is officially entering its implementation phase, involving 10 intervention sites structured into two groups. H-WORK team is conducting a thorough analysis of the needs which each intervention site displays. In particular, when it comes to mental health promotion in the organisation and psychological well-being at work.

The EU-funded H-WORK project intends to create, apply and test a multi-level estimation and intervention instrument aiming to promote mental health in public organisations and SMEs. It will evaluate the outcomes of applied methods and offer proposals to employers, health professionals and policymakers. The project will create, prove and develop the H-WORK Innovation Platform, a system that will include advanced digital services, and facilitate the dissemination of H-WORK solutions across the EU.
