Hi,

I'm not the first to ask a question. I will say right away I tried all these methods and they did not solve the problem. Windows server 2012 R2.
Error aspires after each reboot.

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/previous-versions/windows/it-pro/windows-server-2008-R2-and-2008/cc774913(v=ws.10)

What is helped me:

  1. export branch [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\BITS\Performance] to reg file
  2. removed this keys in branch [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\BITS\Performance]

"First Counter"=dword:000010a6
"Last Counter"=dword:000010b6
"First Help"=dword:000010a7
"Last Help"=dword:000010b7

3.reboot server. The error disappeared.
4.After that added that register keys back from backup. And error not appears no more!

What's happening? I cannot find information about these keys, please explain if you know.

Thank you.

There is not a specific Microsoft doc or article to explain this HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\BITS\Performance key and its sub keys.

You may check this technet case for some information:
