NGS participants meeting, ESHG conference, Berlin, Germany

Details: GenQA and EMQN will be jointly hosting an NGS (germline) EQA participant meeting at the 2024 European Human Genetics Conference in Berlin. All current and prospective participants attending ESHG 2024 are welcome to join us. Alongside GenQA and EMQN staff, members of our specialist advisory group will be present to discuss the benefits of EQA from a participant perspective and how EQA promotes standardisation. We look forward to seeing you at Sequencing Square, Hall 4.2

Lessons learned from the 2023 Worldwide EQA Scheme for Molecular Testing of BRCA and other HRR gene variants in ovarian and prostate cancer.

Details: Dr Simon Patton (EMQN) and Prof Sandi Deans (GenQA) will be summarising the outcomes and learnings from the 2023 EQA. This webinar will provide an Overview of results from the 2023 Molecular testing of BRCA and other HRR gene variants EQA schemes, clear examples of the errors and pitfalls seen in the EQA, practical solutions, which when implemented may help prevent / rectify common issues and guidance on reporting results within different clinical contexts.
