In presentations before grants committees, the presentation components should serve to convince all committee members that you are their number one candidate, that you will not let them down, and that they should give you the money. One of these components is the narrative. So how can you set up a research proposal narrative that will do all these things?

In this two-hour workshop, you will learn how this can be done in a persuasive approach, telling committees that the problem out there is a bad one, that your solution to it is a smart one, and that you will not fail to deliver the goods. One of the main drivers in my approach is that storytelling mastery will be understood as being symbolic of professional mastery. A related driver is that many stories are more impactful with fewer details.

The workshop leader is Rikkert Stuve (www.textconsultant.nl). He has specialized exclusively in this type of winning presentation, working with academics from seven Dutch universities. His track record spans more than a decade with a success rate averaging 80%.
