What is it for?
This form is intended for the doctoral candidate and his/her promotor to periodically reflect on the progress and conditions of the PhD-traject in the first year. Have an open dialogue in which it is important to give each other space and don't judge to quickly. At the start of the PhD-traject, schedule a minimum of 4 interviews  and use this form as an aid. For example after 2, 4, 6 and 10 months after the start.

Questions? Are the conversations not being established? Ask the AMR HR Advisor for advice or email HR-AMR@amsterdamumc.nl. These interviews and this form do not replace the yearly appraisal.

Tips
1. Set and record the goal for the next conversation at the end of each meeting
2. Check at the end of each meeting whether the appointment for the next meeting is still on everyone's agenda
3. Listen to each other and come up with solutions together
