Established in 1951, the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany negotiates for compensation and restitution for Jewish victims of Nazi persecution, administers compensation funds, recovers heirless Jewish property, and allocates funds to organizations which provide social welfare services to Jewish Nazi victims and preserves the memory of the Shoah through Holocaust research, education and documentation initiatives.
