Love for Days #1

Man Crush Monday

Rate this book
Perma-single Amy Clarke prides herself on three things: her pink hair, her Converse collection, and her ability to drink copious amounts of margarita without puking. She isn’t looking for love. She’s perfectly content with her simultaneous love affairs with Netflix and both Ben and Jerry. The trouble is, sometimes, love finds you.

Five months ago, he climbed aboard her train, and nothing has been the same since. Fast-forward to now, she still doesn’t know his name, but she knows she wants his babies.

Her crush—this tall, dark, and handsome dork who gets on her train every other Monday—has no idea he brightens her day with his panty-wetting smile and laugh that makes her pulse quicken.

When a chance encounter outside of work forces them to have their first proper conversation, things quickly go from loving him from afar to up close and very personal. With a string of disastrous exes in her past, has Amy finally found her Mr Perfect? Or does fate have other plans?

I am a traditionally published and Indie author that hails from sunny England (I lie, it's not really that sunny here!) I'm a hopeless romantic, so of course my main writing focus is romance. I love to create swoon-worthy males that steal your breath! I write mature YA, new adult and contemporary romance novels.

As well as being a writer I'm also an avid reader, mum to one little boy, proud chocoholic and an absolute beast at Lego PlayStation games.

If I had to sum myself up in one word, it would probably be 'daydreamer' - but unlike most of my school teachers, I don't necessarily view that as a bad thing. After all, I read somewhere once that books are like waking dreams...

4.5 out of 5 stars!

🔹 Incredibly laugh-worthy
🔹 Emotionally packed
🔹 Tear-jerker (I did NOT want to cry, but I did.)
🔹 Clusterfuckery of Inner Conflicts! (There are points I wanted to smack the heroine in the head, but I believe her conflicted self is doing enough justice on that.)
🔹 Swoon Swoon Swoon 🥺 (I am sucker for intelligence too.)

Man Crush Monday is a very captivating read, absolutely cracked me up, and with emotional depth (I sobbed like a baby). I recommend to y'all RomCom lovers!

The first half gave me a bad case of The Swoons with The Giggles and I ate them all up, guilt-free. Then the second half happened and it was like a record screeching to a halt. From swooning, to laughing, to sobbing. This book was a roller-coaster ride. Just the way I prefer my romance.

Amy Clarke. Pink-haired. Quirky. Converse-shoes junkie. Cheese fanatic. She is a train ticket collector, and twice a month for the last 2 years, she has been crushing, and crushing hard on this incredibly charismatic and kind-hearted guy that rides on her train. This guy performs magic tricks to children, to ease up their crying. Helps carry suitcases of the elderlies. A book junkie (They even have the same tastes on books!). Just exactly her Type. She doesn't know his name, doesn't speak to him more than a conversation of "Ticket, please." But she can't help but fall for the guy. She could never muster the courage to ask him out, not until a fateful day of them bumping into each other. A meet-cute with coffee spills outside a cafe. They both decided to go on a date, and then another, and then another, until they have fallen madly in love with each other. But shit happens. And some things are too good to be true.

Turning into your Man Crush Every Day…

Sometimes a book comes into your life where you are loving it … but get to a stage where you are dreading turning the page. Man Crush Monday was absolutely brilliant and I loved it all but I could see heartache approaching. I guessed the bombshell fairly early on and I was devastated that this perfect couple may have to face a crossroad. In my usual way of dealing with romance book conflict, I delayed it. It was coming, and … I made a cup of coffee … put a load of washing on … watched three episodes of Sex Education (I'm late to the party, but I love it) … I even played Candy Crush. Then, I could avoid no longer…

Wow! While the plot twist was a tried and tested method, I thought Kirsty Moseley brought a refreshing spin to the twist. My heart was breaking for the couple and as I predicted, I cried at the turmoil Jared and Amy faced. I COMPLETELY understood the reason behind the turmoil and for the first time EVER, I did not have the answers in how to fix the problem. (I know, SHOCKING!!) Again, for the first time ever, I knew that I had to let the couple ... I mean the author, show me their destiny.

Jared was perfect and made all the right gestures to prove his love and affection for Amy. While Amy was quirky, it was never in a too silly or immature way. I absolutely loved that on paper Jared and Amy are mismatched, but together they work perfectly. They manage to ruffle the too smooth and smooth out the too ruffled in each other.

Man Crush Monday was everything I hope for in a romance and more. I had plenty of moments that made me laugh out loud, the sexy times were HOT, and the timeline for their relationship was perfect and realistic too. The additional characters were lovable and I really hope we get to catch up with them again in future stories. While there is conflict in this story and I shed a tear or two because of it, I still enjoyed every minute of the journey.

This was my first story by Kirsty Moseley and I’ve already purchased Stand-In Saturday to read next and pre-ordered Fangirl Friday. Thank you to my Goodreads buddy for bringing this wonderful story into my life. If you’re looking for something to brighten up your day and leave you extremely satisfied, I highly recommend giving Man Crush Monday a try.

You know that feeling when after reading some emotional & heartbreaking book you feel drained...then you choose to read something sweet & cute ( I mean look at this cover) ...but still that feeling is there from that previous book...you just reading and waiting for other shoe to drop...that was how I felt reading this..and then I was lulled into it. Because everything was fine & dandy until well over half of book so around 60% ...shit hit the fan... Boom!

And let me tell you...Amy, you get no compassion from me girl! None! Zilch! Nada!!

Anyhoo...this is really cute opposites attract romance with cute premise & sweet storyline.
It even made me shed a tear towards the end.. Hero does sound too good to be true but hey we deserve that sooo...

I really like you, Jared, even if you dislike Love Island!!

Really great and romantic. I'm docking a star because the first half of the book was too good to be true and boring. It made me wonder what the whole point of the book was about if they just ended up together so easily. Loved the nice twist and the justifications the characters made to decide their true feelings.

I cannot begin to describe just how much I eagerly anticipated this book. Kirsty Moseley is my unicorn author and she’s not released a book for quite some time, the wait was so painful but so so worth it.

This is the first rom-com by this author and she threw my expectations out of the park, around the world and back again! It was amazing, so funny, so many emotions I was tearing up one minute and giggling the next. My children were giving me funny looks at my laugh out loud reactions.

Amy is my kind of woman! She’s real! She’s awkward and funny without meaning to be, she’s also in love with a complete stranger that she sees every Monday at work! How could I not love her? Amy’s Nan was so hilarious I very nearly wet myself, she’s just brilliant! I’m not going into anymore detail because you need to go into this one blind!

Everyone needs to experience this book it’s utter perfection and my new favourite, I will be reading it again very soon because I can’t get enough! Cue the book hangover!

Cannot recommend Man Crush Monday enough! Five sparkly stars from me!

Wow, what a great book! Light-hearted read, genuinely likeable characters, fun and humorous storyline. Left me with a good feeling and a smile on my face. I'll definitely be seeking out more books by Kirsty Moseley.

If you haven't yet read this author, give her a try. She writes mature YA, New Adult, and contemporary romance however, she seasons her stories with action, humor, paranormal and other elements, so there's something to satisfy a wide variety of readers. This was my first taste of Kirsty's work but it definitely won't be the last.
Kirsty, thank you for writing this fantastic book and for the great time I had reading it!

2nd read: 2022
1st read : 2020

I received an ARC of this book and this is my voluntarily, honest review of it.

From the first time that I read the blurb of ‘Man crush Monday’, I was immediately intrigued by it and couldn’t wait to read it. So when I won an ARC of it, I was very excited about that!!! But I was also a bit anxious because my expectations for this story were very high and I knew it but to my delight this story was everything I hoped for and more!

This story brought a smile on my face from the first page that I read and it stayed there for a very long time. But the more I read, the more I got the feeling that it was all going to smooth, to easy and I was right! The writer had a surprise hidden, something that made that the story went from funny to emotional (but don’t worry it’s an exciting and interesting surprise) but it’s something that forced Amy to look at her man crush Monday in a different way and to question her feelings for him.
I won’t tell you more but I can tell you that I was super happy with the way that the story ended!! It had the ending that I hoped for.

So ‘Man Crush Monday’ is much more than just a funny story, it also has an emotional side. It’s told from Amy’s POV. Amy is a great character. She’s cute, quirky, extrovert and just lovely and her secret crush is also a great character, thoughtful, dependable and caring. I really enjoyed the interaction between them. The second characters are also very entertaining, especially Amy’s mother and her nanny.

The writer Kirsty Moseley wrote a lovely story and I will definitely re-read it in the future.

Loved Man Crush Monday! Jared and Amy are so cute and funny. They are total opposites, he is an OCD neat freak and she is a messy leave it where it falls girl. I love the dialogue and her no filter had me laughing out loud. The plot twists left me eager for more and I couldn’t stop reading, even when I should be sleeping. Another good one from Kirsty.

„Up until five months ago, I was a normal Monday hater, just like everyone else, but then something happened. He happened.”

Adorably sweet, incredibly funny and totally astounding! Man Crush Monday is such an original and captivating story that’s completely unputdownable. I devoured this book. Kirsty Moseley has created remarkable and wonderful storyline, filled with wit and cuteness, but it also has an emotional depth that left me almost in tears. This fabulous book gives all the feels- it’ll make you laugh, it’ll make your chin wobble and it’ll make your heart burst from happiness!

I have the biggest girl-crush on Amy. This girl is funny, sweet and quirky. Even though she doesn't think so much about herself, she’s the most unique woman ever. I had the time of my life when she let out her unfiltered thoughts. At first she seems to be a little shy, but as soon as she feels comfortable she’s the person in whose company you want to be all the time!

Jared had my heart from the get go. He has his little quirks and he’s strict with his work ethic, but at the same time he’s so charming and wonderful! I loved his thoughtfulness and his kind heart. Although on the paper he looks like a total mismatch to Amy, he completes her beautifully.

These two have an electrifying chemistry and despite the differences they fit like the missing pieces of puzzle. Their passion was so palpable that I was seriously worried that my Kindle will melt from all the hotness! And just when you think you have it all sorted out and that HEA is just around the corner, the author throws such a mindblowing plot-twist that your jaw hits the floor. This unexpected turn of events was such an emotional punch that I couldn’t wrap my head around it!

Do yourself a favor and grab this book as soon as it’s live. Kirsty Moseley has written romance GOLD. Man Crush Monday is a perfect mix of hilarious rom-com and heartwarming contemporary romance. You will laugh and swoon and blush. The characters are fabulous and the story itself is one-of-a-kind. I loved it with my whole heart!

PS.
I really REALLY hope that we’ll get Theo’s book! I need his HEA like Amy needs carbs!

Amy is a quirky, pink haired, Converse wearing woman who's been secretly lusting after the man who rides her train. But it's all very low key until the day they run into each other. Literally. Jared is quite Amy's opposite, but they mesh in surprisingly perfect ways. And it's all very funny, like seriously funny, and witty, then bam, the last part takes quite a turn to the emotional, and suddenly I was wondering what happened to my fun couple. But have no fear, because Man Crush Monday is yes, very funny and witty, but also so well written, and such a wonderful love story. It's heartwarming, fun, and surprisingly emotionally substantial. I'd re-read this story in a heartbeat!

Man Crush Monday. #MCM. Amy Clarke has pink hair, a Converse collection, and has Tequila Thursday’s with her friend Heather. To say Monday and Thursday are Amy’s favorite days of the week is an understatement. Thursday’s for obvious reasons (Tequila/Margaritas) and Mondays because of a tall, dark, and handsome somebody that gets on the train she works at every two weeks.

Amy has been eyeing mr. triple threat for about 5 months and after a specific event she has decided that she is in absolute love with him. When a chance encounter brings them face to face and iced coffee on her work shirt lol, Amy may get a date with the boy she’s been crushing on for months.

I really loved Amy’s character. She is someone I would immediately befriend. She is such a free spirited, quirky, no filter, foodie who is just too relatable. Jared *swoons in spanish* is just everything!! He is too perfect, if you count his OCD and strict work persona as perfect. Amy and Jared immediately kick it off on their first date and schedule a second date the next day. By this point of the book I’m swooning so hard. The romance hits and then the steam. Wow, is it just me or did it just get boiling hot in here?

I’m smiling, my cheeks hurt but then I face palm myself and think damn I’m only about 50 pages in it can’t all be perfect right? What’s the catch? Then I start thinking omg he’s a stalker with major OCD, omg he is lying about his profession and is homeless, and around page 90 it hits me and I crack up so hard. But I’m loving it, every moment of Amy and Jared. But I’m also panicking I want to know what’s going on.

The last part broke my heart. I knew it was this part that would seal it down for me if this was a 4 star or 5 star read. I would have loved to see Amy’s decision have been made under different circumstances. Character growth and understanding of herself and her feelings would have knocked it out of the park for me. She wore her feelings on her sleeve I wish she would have realized that without extreme circumstances. Thank you Kirsty Moseley, this book surpassed my expectations. I really did read it in a day. *swoons in spanish again*

Make sure to get your copy on release day February 3rd, 2020.

Well Kirsty Moseley hasn’t had a new release for 3 years, but this little gem was definitely worth the wait. She’s back with a bang!

This book is different from her others books in that it is a rom-com, but it shows she’s versatile and can write anything. I loved every minute of this!

This story follows Amy. A normal girl, that I’m sure most of us can relate to. She has her own insecurities, but she’s quirky and cool, and I liked her a lot.

She works as a ticket collector on the trains. Pretty dull, but it pays the bills. The dullness is only improved every other Monday when a stunning example of manliness gets on her train. She’s been quietly crushing from afar for several months, but then, by chance, they meet officially. Everything is going great for once.

I really enjoyed this. There were many laugh out loud moments, but it was also emotional too. A perfect mix. Amy and Jared were great and had fab chemistry. I was invested in their story from the get go.

The plot was different from the average and original and even had some twists to keep you on your toes. I found myself eager to turn the page to find out what would happen next, but also loath to finish and leave these characters that had worked my way into my heart.

All in all a great read that I would definitely recommend. I finished this with a great big smile on my face and will definitely be going back for a re-read or 3 in the future.

Man Crush Monday by Kirsty Moseley
Love For Days #1
10h 38m narrated by Kelsey Navarro, 248 pages

Genre: Romance >Contemporary Romance; Adult Fiction, Chick Lit, New Adult, Humor, British Literature

Featuring: London and Cambridge, England; Train Station, Crush Trope, Sex-Detailed, Zodiac Signs, Stalking

Rating as a movie: X for graphic sexual content and vulgar language

Songs for the soundtrack: "Superstition" by Stevie Wonder

My rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My thoughts: 📱7% 43:28 Ch. 3 - If I didn't have to do chores and run errands, I'm not sure I would have made it this far. But, at least, it's looking up now.
📱21% 2:14:27 Ch. 7 - I thought this was NC-17, but it might be a little X-rated instead. It had a decent start; now I'm left wondering what's the catch.
📱55% 5:49:21 Ch. 18 - I think I have this figured out for a long while, and now I'm annoyed it hasn't been revealed yet.
📱61% 6:25:57 Ch. 20 - Finally! The reaction is ridiculous and better not become an issue or a thing.

This book got on my nerves due to a trope element I'm not fond of. Later, it scared me. I was happy with the overall story, but boo for playing with my emotions, I will be reading the next book.

Recommend to others?: Yes. It was pretty fun before it hit the fan.

An opposites attract, seemingly unlikely romance that’s a fun read with some unexpected drama. I felt the love and the angst. A great read!

Amy is a quirky, unfiltered, converse wearing, pink haired fun girl. You are going to love her! She’s the lady on the train that rides her old bike to work everyday and punches your ticket to ride. She’s just living life and lusting after her man crush. He makes Monday’s better every other week when he rides on her train. She’s been loving him from afar for months.

Then one day her crush runs right into her...literally. One crushed coffee and an unexpected dinner invitation is going to change everything. Amy’s life just got a whole lot better.

Jared seems a little different than what she observed on the train, but she’s incredibly attracted to him anyway. He’s a little OCD with cleanliness, he’s career driven and a total gentleman. They are completely different but when together their chemistry sizzles!

Once they start dating, the two couldn’t be happier...until their bubble bursts.

A story with romance and intense attraction. You’ll get a bit of drama that will leave you frustrated and ready to smack Amy even though you love her. I really enjoyed these characters and watching them fall in love. It was sweet and sexy. It kept me invested, but also wondering where the author would take us. Even with my uncertainty I was all in and loved it!

I've been a fan of Kirsty's work for a long time now, she has a way of sucking me into the world that she creates like no other...but, its been a LONG 3 year wait since her last release and I'll admit, I went in with a slight vein of trepidation! I wasnt sure what to expect, would she still grab me the way she always did before? would it be as good? I didnt know, but I sure as hell couldn't wait to find out!!
The answer, in short....IT WAS BETTER!!! Better than my wildest possible dreams! I found myself unable to put Man Crush Monday down! I literally read while i fed my 6 month old, read while I cooked and even continued to read while I answered the door! I found it IMPOSSIBLE to walk away from the vivacious Amy and enigmatic and elusive Jared, their chemistry was SIZZLING!! I laughed out loud (the kind that comes from the bottom of your belly and escapes as a gigantic snort! followed by a fit of giggles), I cried (Huge, ugly, use a pack of tissues kinda tears) and sighed in pure contentment!!
Man Crush Monday is a MUST read!!! I couldn't possibly recommend it more highly, it even melted my jaded little heart

I already know that Man Crush Monday will be one of my top reads of 2020, of all time actually. Kirsty Moseley is a favourite author of mine because she always writes outstanding stories and although there has been a bit of a gap since her last release until this one, I can tell you that it has been totally worth the wait.

Amy Clarke is amazing and I would love her to be in my close circle of friends. She is fun, quirky, caring, kind and has this fabulous personality which ensures that people warm to her instantly – myself included.

I fell for Jared Stone quite early on in the book if I’m totally honest, and then my feelings for him grew as I got to know him more. He gorgeous, caring, hardworking and the perfect gentleman…. just my type.

I adored Amy and Jared’s interactions and banter; It was lovely witnessing Amy bring out a different side to Jared that other people don’t see. The connection and chemistry that they have with each other is unquestionable. The connection that I had with them both as I read their story ensured that I was fully invested in them as individuals and rooting for them as a couple all the way. I couldn’t help but want the best for them both. I wanted them to be happy. My heart broke for them both when fate decided to throw them a curve ball and I honestly sat on the edge of my seat, hoping that they would be able to overcome the obstacles standing in the way of them finding their HEAs together.

Man Crush Monday certainly ticked all of my boxes and I urge you to read this incredible story. It is such a fun, light read which had me laughing and smiling throughout, but I must warn you to have some tissues at the ready too…. you are going to need them! This book is filled with great characters, a fabulous story line and lots of emotion. I really hope that this isn’t the last we see of Amy and Jared as I have loved every single minute that I have spent with them whilst reading this book.

This is a pretty damn good book. It was a bit too sugary sweet at the beginning but then bam! A major plot twist comes and everything changes.

Amy and Jared were amazing as a couple and individuals. Amy was quirky, fun, honest, and has no verbal filter! Jared was adorable, smart and sexy. And I loved Amy's nanna to pieces!! She was too fun to be around.

This story was different, a truly one of a kind and definitely worth the read!!

I’d like to thank Enticing Journey Promotions for sending me an e-arc of this book it is very much appreciated. So I love Kirsty Moseley I have been a fan of her from her wattpad days and followed her when she began to publish and I love her stories and I was very excited when Kirsty revealed she had a new release coming the few years wait we had was well worth it.

This review was very hard to write for me because I can’t give spoilers and you are so much better off not knowing anything going into this book. So I’ve had a hard time trying to not spoil things.

I fell in love with Amy immediately just her quirkiness, and clumsiness made me smile right from the beginning of the book and she is just one of those people that are a breath of fresh air. She was very carefree and just went with the flow king of thing and I just loved her character so much. She was a real life girl with her real insecurities and Kirsty wrote that very well.

Jared. Oh my god. Swoon worthy the moment he is introduced in the book and I also very quick fell in love with him. Just the way he loved Amy’s quirkiness, they were very much opposites. Jared was perfect. He’s got a strict work persona, works very hard, slight issue with OCD. But he was perfect.

Amy and Jared hit it off from the first date and damn this couple melted my heart, the chemistry between these two characters was off the charts. I loved how caring he was with Amy and you could tell immediately how fast they were falling for each other.

All the way through them meeting and falling in love I was waiting for the other shoe to drop. And damn did the other shoe drop. I’m not going to say anything more because you need to read this without knowing. But wow. I was not expecting it.

One of my favourite scenes in the book is where Jared takes Amy to a work party and then whilst Amy is in the bathroom complaining about the spanks and how boring the party is. She is actually complaining to one of the partners that Jared works for and manages to schmooze her. I love it.

I loved Heather, she was the best friend you need and want. I loved the friendship between them and also loved that Tim, Heather’s partner, is also like a brother to Amy and I love the friendship group.

Oh my god the families in this book the scenes they were involved in made me smile so many times. Especially Amy’s mum and nana I loved those scenes with them in.

So this book was so cute and I caught all the feels. I absolutely love Jared and Amy and it was well worth the wait from Kirsty!

Man Crush Monday is hands down the best contemporary romance with rom-com vibes, I've recently read. Kirsty Moseley created beautiful story about how fate can be twisted and how love can play tricks with us or that we can't take every day for granted.
Kirsty Moseley has amazing style of writing and has that magical spark which pulls you in so deep that there is no way you will be able to walk away once you start to read this book. It will hit that right spot in your heart.

I purposely won't tell you about main hero in this story ( but trust me, he is swoon worth hottie), I want everyone to have the same book experience as I had.
But I can tell you about the heroine, Amy who I totally adore. She was pure hearted, pink haired convers girl with charismatic attitude. Funny, honest with no head to mouth filter. She was quircky girl who liked Netflix and Margarita Thursdays with her best friend. For almost five months she's a crush into man from her train and she couldn't find a courage to even talk to him. Under accidental events the whole story begins.
From the first page I was drown into Amy and her crush romance, but nothing prepared me for the story hidden in this book.
MCM got my cheeks to hurt to the point that I was laughing out loud to myself, unpredictable plot made me constantly wonder where author is heading with the story.
I've experienced so many emotions during the reading. First part was full of heart-warming feelings and I was melting over its romantic part but then suddenly boom, author dropped a huge twist in the story, that my eyes widen and jaw dropped on the floor. But that wasn't even the end of that story, because there was more what author holds for us. It was one of those novels which I didn't want the get to the end but was so curious what's waiting for me next.

Man Crush Monday is totally standalone book with no cliffhanger but be prepare for a huge hangover after you read it.

Hands down Ladies and Gentlemen - Man Crush Monday is nothin less than rom com at the finest !!!! This is one of the most adorable the sweetest books I've ever read.

I feel captivated -this author and this characters are my true and real Monday Crush today. I'm still is swoon mode, and this state of mind doesn't leave me since I've started my adventure with them. From the very first paiges Mrs. Moseley gave me ALL THE FEELS...she made me laugh, she stoped my heart definetely more than twice... and she sucks me compeletely into Amy's (and Her Crush) world.

Amy .... I can't believe she lives only on the paiges of this book ! I'm so in love with Her character - if she could be real, I'm sure we would be BFFs forever. She steal my attention from the begining withe everything, because she made me feel so much the same... with Her sense of humor, Her big heart and Her innertalks... and Her Crush for one and only Man Crush Monday, can't lie.

This Two love birds are this similiar like day and night, but what a fun it was to watch them thru the whole book. How they intereact with eachother, how they were falling deep and deeper in love... Gah HOW chemistry was boiling between them. OH WOW !!!! They were SIMPLY AMAZING, and I miss them already. I'm not ready to say goodbye, sooo maybe... I need another re-reading round ?

I won't split right now too much. There are some amazing secrets to find out, some hard blush on Your faces to show up... AND when You will read the book - You will undestand WHY.

Grabby Hands readers - You will love this book !!!

Have you ever ridden a roller coaster that spikes your adrenaline up and down so much that you can't tell if you're screaming or giggling, you just know you are having a great time? That's how I felt reading "Man Crush Monday" and I loved every crazy minute of it.  Amy Clarke may now be my favorite heroine of all time. A pink-haired, British cross between Emma Stone, Anna Kendrick and a teacup poodle, she is just adorably weird and hilariously quirky. And her "man-crush" is definitely book-boyfriend material. From laughter to tears to holy-shit-that-was-hot, this side-splitting romantic comedy is also a surprisingly emotional story about what it means to be 'in-love.' Trust me, this book is one thrill ride that you don't want to miss!

It has been three years when one of my favorite authors, Kirsty Moseley, released a book. Man Crush Monday wasn’t really the book we were initially promised, but man, did it deliver more than that! This was definitely worth all those wait, reminding me what a good story teller, Kirsty Moseley is.

Man Crush Monday is a romantic comedy that will tug at your heartstrings. The story is original (at least for me) that even if I know how things will end up, it still excites me know how things pan out. Although I am really not a big fan of insta-love, Man Crush Monday, is one of the few exceptions of this. It was written in a way that you can’t help but fall in love with the story too. Kirsty has a way of tearing out your heart and break them apart just so she can repair and give back to you wrapped and tied in a bow as if nothing’s happened. Man Crush Monday will make you laugh and cry, and then laugh some more, just a perfect blend of a romantic comedy. And although the story is a little fast paced in terms of the timeline, it doesn’t feel rushed. It gives you the details you need to enjoy every bits of it.

Amy is one of the few heroines that I actually wish I had the characteristics of. She’s bubbly, witty and confident. Despite her being a “liability” she can brighten a room with her quick wit. Which I think perfectly complements Jared’s introverted, OCD self. Just goes to prove that no matter how polar opposite you are, if you jive together, you jive together.

This certainly deserves a 5 star. Worth all those years of wait.

Amy and Jarod’s story is a beautifully written tale which is emotional, humorous, with witty banter, and an unexpected surprise which all had me totally captivated throughout this addictive and entertainingly brilliant rom-com masterpiece. I can never get enough of this gifted authors’ work, and I highly recommend for all readers.
