My swoony romance heart just about exploded reading this.
Laughter, sassiness and and the cutest five year old.

Full of bliss and chemistry off the charts these two have a rough start but boy does Colton make her work for it.

Colton was a hard guy to love at the start because he came across so harsh but of course he had me with hearts in my eyes by the end.
Ashley was sassy, fun and so easy to love I loved the banter between Colton and Ashley they had a dynamic that pulled you in and had you in fits of laughter while reading.

Small town romance at its best with cuteness galore and an epic battle between enemies.
Throw in an adorable five year old and you won't be able to not fall in love with this story.

Enjoyed this book, however the villain providing a spark of extra interest just disappeared without a peak or anything, even to give closure, which was disappointing. Also not sure why it's advertised as a Romantic Comedy as there wasn't much to laugh at. But, overall still a nice read.

This was a delightful, easy-going romantic comedy and enemies to lovers, single dad, super cute story that I enjoyed immensely. The story flowed beautifully with charismatic characters that were very easy to connect and relate too. It had all the right components to make this a really enjoyable read.

Colton is a lawyer and a good one but the man is uptight and moody and so gorgeous with it I could not help but love his snarky sarcastic attitude. Apparently, so does Ashley when she first meets him at his friend's wedding. She is the wedding photographer and she likes what she see's straight away. Colton not so much and he makes no bones about his disapproval of Ashley in no uncertain terms. Yes, Colton speaks his mind and then thinks afterwards which of course made his character so perfect to read.

Ashley, I loved because she was Fiery, funny, lovable with a big heart and this lady knew exactly what she wanted from life which was really refreshing. The antics, the banter, the constant back and forth that this couple went through was at times hilarious if not, at times, frustrating. Then throw in a super adorable child, Cruz, and you have a perfect story to curl up with that will bring a contented smile to your face.

Oh and that cover, absolutely perfect for this story which is a winner.

This book was amazing! Ashley was the photographer for Stacia and West wedding. She saw this gorgeous man in the wedding party. She wanted him since she laid eyes on him. When she approached him he called her unprofessional and was rude.she couldn’t believe it. This wedding she shot the bride was not happy with the pictures and began harassing Ashley. Posting negative things about her business on social media. Ashley informed Stacia about what was going on because they were attacking her photos. Stacia suggested Colton Banks West’s best friend who is a lawyer. She said he was the best. When she went to his office he was rude again. He gave her a few minutes to hear what she has to say and then told her he couldn’t help. She told him she wouldn’t give up she needed his help. Stacia told Ashley he has a sweet tooth. She baked him muffins. She was going to wear him down. Colton had an unexpected visitor in the middle of the night. His old girlfriend from college Kelsey showed up in the middle of the night with a boy who looked just like he did when he was a kid. He let them in when he woke Kelsey was gone and left Cruz his son with him along with a note. Cruz doesn’t talk he just shakes his head. Suddenly he has a son and not a clue what to do. He calls West who has a son. While in his office Ashley walks in and sees Cruz. She starts talking to him and pulled out her phone. She pulls up the kindle app and starts reading to him. Cruz only talks to Ashley. Colton asks for her help. Ashley helps him out and Colton starts getting attached to her but fights his feelings. He can’t believe that he thought she was a menace to him. Every time they get close he pushes her away. She gets mad at him. She never once takes it out on Cruz. Ashley is becoming more and more apart of their lives. Cruz poor kid was mistreated by his mother and her boyfriends. He is starting to come around. He is in a stable loving home and starts to open up. Ashley is good because the way he treated he I would never talk to him again. She finally wore him down and he refused to let her go. It’s a great story!

What a wonderful story!
Ashley is a wedding photographer. Single. She meets Colton at a wedding and thinks he's hot. Until he opens his mouth. Then she's on the receiving end of rather harsh words. But she really needs his help. And goes back for more.
Then he "rescues" her from an unscrupulous lawyer and things radically change after that!
Sharp words and humour are in plentiful supply with these two - as well as a really strong attraction!
He ends up helping her and then she ends up helping him and being his saviour when events take a really unexpected turn!
Ashley and Colton actually really work well together and this is a lovely read and not to be missed!

Colton is a grumpy man. It was never really addressed why he turned out like that when his 2 Moms are chilled out. He was grumpy in the last book and his relationship with West is funny.
Ashley instantly thinks he is her soul mate and he is horrible to her... but she persists. And then 5 year old Cruz (Colton's son who he didn't know about) turns up and is all sorts of damaged and abandoned by his mom. He immediately feels safe with Ashley and she is the only person he will talk to initially. Cruz brings Ashley and Colton closer together.
I loved that Cruz got his own chapter! And I loved that Cruz got his own happily ever after and brought out a kinder, caring, more loving side to Colton.
What I couldn't understand is taking a 5 year old to the seaside for the first ever time and not heading straight for the beach!!!

So many emotions!

I have to say, it was a delight watching Colton, the uptight Lawyer, fall in love with Ashley, the free spirited Wedding Photographer.

Colton and Ashley do not exactly get off on the right foot. So caught off guard by her free spirit, Colton makes a series of unfounded assumptions about her work ethic and character.

Ashley is such a positive and loving person. No matter how much Colton confuses her or bruises her heart, she continues to freely give her time and love in order to help him out.

Colton comes across as uptight and callous, and I honestly wasn't sure if I would like him. At all. He was rude to Ashley and unable to process his own feelings. Caught somewhere between desire and resentment.

Maybe this is why I found his back story to be so fascinating. For someone raised in such a loving and open home to be so...rude and judgmental is baffling. Colton's parents are awesome. They are brilliant and funny and so warm and welcoming. Pretty much everything he isn't.

When a life-altering surprise in the form of a son he never knew he had lands on his doorstep, we get to see a different Colton. All that love and vulnerability buried inside him suddenly comes pouring out; and it is lovely to watch.

Cruz is the sweetest of children, and I wanted nothing more than to reach into the book and hold him tight.

Rebel Desire is a funny and sweet, slow-burn romance, and a perfect way to round out this series.

Holy Cow!! I freakin loved this book! Rebel Desire was the perfect read right now. It provided a getaway to the phenomenal little world that LK Farlow has created with her Rebel books, and I for one will take a trip there any day of the week!

Colton Banks is gorgeous. But He is also moody, rude and wound tighter than a clock. He’s super successful in his life and he didn’t get that way by not having good instincts. The first time he meets Ashley, he thinks there’s something off and unprofessional about her, so he tells her so which sets off a chain of beautiful “banter o’ hate” back and forth for chapters to come!
When his life is suddenly flipped on its axis the beautiful Lavender haired beautiful is a saving grace in helping him to adjust to all the new changes he’s suddenly facing.

Ashely’s character was Bomb! She was sassy, and fun. She stood up to Colton when he was sully and being all jerky. From the first moment she saw him, she knew he was her soulmate, therefore she was persistent. It was fun to read how she broke him down. All the little things she did to make him let up on his stubborn streak made me seriously lol. When they did things together, even if they weren’t “officially a couple” they were absolutely precious.

Colton as the H is just enough of a horse’s rear that you despise him a little at the beginning, but you start to see little glimpses of why he’s the way he is and you get to witness his transformation when he’s brought to his knees by a life changing event and a phenomenal woman.

Ashley aka “Agent Purple” as our h is loving, and patient, sweet, fun and sassy. She is everything Colton didn’t know he needed in his life. I love the fiery persistence this woman had and how she could always remain focused on who was most important and not always get caught up in her own feelings. For that alone she deserved everything good in life and more!

I don’t really want to say anymore as to not give anything away. But I will say in closing. This is a fantastic frenemies- to-lovers book that I could read over and over again.
