If you've been following the The Happy Hour Series then you know Caroline and how she has been feeling the last few books...She's happy for her friends finding love but sad that she hasn't found anyone. Caroline is the super sweet one of her group of friends. She is fabulous. I love her attitude throughout this one toward Blake. You can feel the draw between them. You can feel the fight Caroline has toward Blake too. Blake is like one of those men you aren't sure how you feel about him when you first meet him in this one. But once you get to know him you get him. You get the draw and the fight Caroline has. Why everyone in her group of friends if pushing so hard. Cosmopolitan is a fantastic read filled with loads of laughs and some tears along the way. It is filled with the friendships we've grown to love. Caroline and Blake will draw you in and wont let you go without a heart filled of love and happyness. I love what Kirsten Hope Mazzola has brought to the pages of the entire Happy Hour Series. I couldn't put this one down. These books should be read and make a perfect summer binge read.

Caroline is parts turned on and turned off whenever her new boss, Blake, is in the same room. He's handsome, yet the words that come out of his mouth drive her up a wall.

As Blake & Caroline go back and forth, her band of girlfriends and their significant others join forces to ensure that their insanity has some less-than-intense moments.

Sweet, Funny And Genuine

I really liked this book. It is probably my favorite of this series. With a story that is funny, sweet and genuine, I thought this romance was very easy to fall in love with. Caroline was so very realistic and relatable. I think many readers will see themselves in her or in someone they know and that is what for me made this book extra special. This is my candid review that I am posting freely.

Although Caroline has watched her best friend fall in love she can’t help but be a little envious as she wants the same thing for herself and she finds herself feeling a little lonely. She still has her job as a school teacher which she loves, however the new principal has a way of annoying her like no other.

Blake is the new principal and starts to make changes that he makes with the best of intentions, but his people skills could use a little help. There is no denying the sparks of animosity between him and Caroline, but will they turn into sparks of a different kind?

I am sad to see this series come to an end as it was fun to watch not only the relationships between the women and their men but the friendship that these women shared as well. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

I can’t get enough of the Happy Hour series. Every one of these books is like getting surprised with your favorite treat. That warm, fuzzy, best day ever feeling just leaps off the pages and envelops you while you read. It’s the perfect pick me up. Seriously, grab Cosmopolitan, sit down with this quick read and kick back for a moment. I guarantee by the time you reach the end you’ll have a permasmile for the rest of the day. Kristen Hope Mazzola works her magic as always in this building a story that feels like a three course meal in a quick bite. I don’t think I’ll ever wrap my brain around her talent at doing that. Hence why I’m fully convinced she’s magic.
