On 25.4.2024 it was Girls'Day again this year! Thirteen young girls were able to spend a day at Elektrobit’s HQ in Erlangen getting a taste of the day-to-day work of a software engineer and the knowledge into programming. They built and programmed their very own "Noise Sensors" using the Calliope mini-computer. The results were not just impressive but also a real ear-opener! Throughout the day, our enthusiastic new developers brought their first small programs to life, showcasing their potential and creativity. Girls'Day is a day where young girls have the opportunity to gain insights into professions and activities that are traditionally male-dominated. The initiative Girls'Day enables young women to discover their personal interests and strengths - independent of gender stereotypes Special thanks to everyone who prepared and hosted the day and made it an absolute success for the girls!
