Changing of the Guard

The Fairview Park City Schools Alumni Hall of Fame would like to send out a huge 'Thank you' to Tom Kairis for serving as Chairperson for the Alumni Hall of Fame for the past 7 years!!! Tom saw us through two inductions, negotiated an alliance with the Fairview Park Education Foundation, oversaw the update of our website and, working with FHS Principal Chris Vicha, established permanent homes for our 3 Halls of Fame. Tom served the Fairview Park School District for over 25 years as a teacher, counselor, coach, and Principal. Tom was inducted into the Distinguished Faculty Hall of Fame in 2017.
Taking over for Tom as the Chairperson of the Alumni Hall of Fame will be Hans Larsen. Hans graduated from Fairview High School in 1988 and was inducted into the Alumni Athletic Hall of Fame in 2011. Hans has been a member of the Hall of Fame Committee for a number of years now, serving as Treasurer for the past 2 years. We look forward to see where Hans and the committee take the Alumni Hall of Fame in the future.

Hall of Fame Joins Education Foundation as an Affiliate Member

The Fairview Park Schools Alumni Hall of Fame is pleased to announce that we are now an affiliate member of the Fairview Park Education Foundation.  We have joined forces with the Foundation to work in partnership with the Fairview Park City Schools staff, students, and community.

The Fairview Park Education Foundation is 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that serves the community of Fairview Park, Ohio.

Founded in 1984, the Foundation was created to act for the benefit of our students, educators, and community.

Our affiliation with the Foundation allows us to reach a broader audience while continuing our mission to: recognize, honor, and celebrate the distinguished alumni, athletes, and staff of the Fairview Park City Schools.

The Hall of Fame joins Foundation’s efforts in recognizing student academic achievements through scholarships for FHS graduating seniors and by developing additional sources of revenue through the teacher enrichment grants program. Teacher grants enrich, enhance and supplement the educational experiences and curriculum of the District.

We are excited to join the Education Foundation in support of the Fairview Park Schools education community.
