Voices of Survivors Handbook - Update 9/25/20
WARNING**** - This Information May Be Triggering. It is not meant to be offensive!

Thank you for your interest in this project. The Positive Results Center wants to share the stories of Black people who have experienced violence, abuse, pain and/or harm of all ages and genders in a handbook written by and about Black, African (Americans) and their descents.

It's critical we share our experiences to prevent our children, family and friends from experiencing these same pains or causing trauma. We must finally tell our truth to prevent people, including family members and strangers alike from hurting other people, especially children.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Signs of abuse; What we don't see, but what's right in front of us, hidden in plain sight; Why abusers may target someone; How did it happen; What parents, caregivers, family and even children need to know or hear; Strategies to prevent violence or abuse; If you could tell us one thing that may make a difference in someone's life (including your life) what would it be?

PLEASE TELL US ANYTHING YOU THINK IS IMPORTANT!
