Agreement to the following conditions is required for attending services. If you do not agree (as indicated in the following question), we cannot permit you to attend at this time. We want you to be healthy. We respect life and health, while at the same time seeking to keep our tradition and our community vibrant and active.
We are asking you to affirm these statements:
1. When I arrive, I may be asked a few health-related questions; if I am exhibiting coronavirus symptoms, I will be asked to leave.
2. I will wear a mask that covers my nose and mouth through the duration of the service.
3. I will maintain a minimum of six feet of distance from service attendees not in my household.
4. I understand that certain ritual observances will be suspended (such as kissing the Torah) and/or altered (such as making Torah blessings from a safe distance).
5. I understand that bathroom access may be limited.
6. I will not attempt to attend services if I am exhibiting uncharacteristic shortness of breath, flu-like symptoms, or other possible indications of coronavirus infection.
7. I choose to attend at my own risk and will not attempt to hold anyone else legally responsible if I become seriously ill as a result of my attending services.
