It's not fair I have to wait until October for the conclusion of this story 👀 You're a little mean Miz Mason...
In case it wasn't clear as day from the above, I pretty much LOVED every minute of this book. 🙌 This will come as no surprise to anyone that follows my reviews because V.F. Mason can do no wrong in my eyes. 💕 Her books are always well written. 👍 Well paced. 🌀 The plots are always engaging and full of twists and turns. 〰 There is usually little to no OW drama. 🙌 There are always hot sex scenes. 🔥 There is always a great cast of secondary characters. 👤👫👤 The heroes are always twisted as f-ck, yet strangely endearing and the heroines are (usually) very likable. 💑 And all the above can be said for this book. 📒 I can't wait to get my hands on the conclusion to this story! 👐
SIDE NOTE: I am throwing in a trigger warning since I know some people appreciate knowing beforehand about stuff like this. 👀 However, this spoiler gives away the heroine's motive, so if you don't want to be spoiled, then don't click on it...you've been warned... ⛔

So this author is an auto-buy from me and I devour everything she produces.
I am such a die-hard fan of her serial killer romances no other author compares for me.
Madman's Method is up there with my faves and is the first instalment in a duet and the next is out like next month so not long to wait here at all.
So as usual im gonna try and keep this very vaguish in terms of content its a story best appreciated blind.
So this one has a woman out for vengeance and twin brothers at its centre and no it is not a love triangle abhor that trope.
This story really takes you on a gripping journey, it's like a runaway train you can't get off and I was enraptured and transfixed from the very first instant.
This author sure can construct a tale and this was equal parts confusing as it was compelling I only can describe it to having the veil slowly lifted from your eyes until a final picture starts to emerge one where you have to applaud the ingenuity of the infrastructure and the creativeness of the initial builder I bow to your evil genius.
My this was a tangled web with so many shocks and twists a real class act and I am now gagging for the next piece of this puzzle.
Really recommend this one ever so highly it was a fantastic read.

Holy shit. Holy shit. HOLY SHIT! Like what the hell did I just read?! I was nearly rendered speechless on how amazing this was. I can't really get into specifics since it'll pretty much spoiled the whole series but it's soooooo worth the read. This dark twisted romance had me on the edge of my seat and the ending… dayum! I seriously can't get enough of this series, the characters and everything in between.

I've never read V.F. Mason before, but I will be reading more from this author now. The madness in Madman's Method is maddening! This book is darker than what I normally read, and it's out of my comfort zone. I'm glad, though, that I did read something different because this story is unforgettable. It's downright shocking and cray cray at times. I was like whaaaaattt?? but in a good way. The twisted chaotic plot draws you in like a magnet. The characters are complex, unique and maybe unreliable. It's a guessing game. There are secrets, lies and betrayals everywhere. I just had to read one more page....then the ending was suddenly there, and I was kind of sad. You know how you become so involved in a book that finishing it and returning to reality is a drag? It's like that, especially because it's a mother of an ending! I'm not going to explain the synopsis. This book is best appreciated when read cold. Seriously, this one is outside of my usual realm, but I really liked the darker aspects, shock value and tumultuous characters presented here. Everything is well balanced to create a great suspenseful read. If you are ready to possibly be uncomfortable but totally engrossed in a story, try Madman's Method. I'm ready for the next book!

This was an epic read...you know that story where you open your kindle to start a book and you don’t look up until you’ve finished. The author sucked me completely in...I was under her spell.

This is one of those books that has an immense amount of potential and creativity, yet the execution is lacking.... I read this with a group of dark romance lovers and everyone in the group struggled with this book. Initially, the main complaint was how confusing everything was. Obviously Mason knows what the underlying story is, but us readers don’t, and it was as though Mason forgot that at times. The entire storyline was beyond cryptic with foreshadowing and innuendos that only someone who had read the duet could fully understand. With over 7 main characters, I literally had to write a list to keep track of who was who. To make things worse, 3 of those characters name’s started with the letter E! In addition to the many main characters there were several secondary characters with names I recognized from other Mason titles. I kept wondering if I might understand this book more had I read some of her other books 1st? There was also a lot of unnecessary, excessive filler that easily could have been cut to make this book more streamlined and easy/enjoyable to read. I usually read a book in about 3 days, but this book took me 10 days - 10!!!!! Like I said, it’s obvious that Mason is talented and clever, but this book was too convoluted. PS: It does end with a cliffhanger!!!

WOW!!! I never expected this, this is some dark and twisted intense beyond mind blowing that I could not get enough of, you think you have it figured out guess again. Madman and Cassandra are one of a kind and holy they are unique and dangerous and so so beautiful at the same time in this dangerous game their about to play so hold on tight. This is outstanding theirs no words it's every single thing I love in my Dark Romance. The character development and feelings are so real and written to perfection and I can't wait for the next one. That ending ugh boom blow your mind.

10 DARK TWISTED STARS!!! Holy Moly this story has invaded my brain...I keep replaying it over and over again. This book is in my TOP 5 READS FOR 2019. Madman and Cassandra's story is dark, twisted, mind blowing and beautiful. V.F. Mason is phenomenal at her storytelling....I am so hooked on her words....GIVE ME MORE!! You must read this book if you like this kind of story.....SO GOOD!!!

Arianna is young good whose best friends are twins. Eudard and Eachann are part of the elite crowd and there is a definite hierarchy in these founding families.
The relationship and friendship changes and morphs as these young people age and then the most devastating thing happens and everything shatters in their world.
This story was intense and mind blowing, so twisted and bizarre that I did not see that coming.
I can’t wait for more!

lowkey called it what would happen but by the end i still ended up confused. ALSO THE BOOK IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE COVER(no offense, to the man on the cover who i’m sure is a nice person)

I know, I know. This is a duet and I knew before going in that there would be a cliffy, and honestly I’m sooo not mad at it. It was all kinds of crazy awesome...but still…
But with that outburst done.
I kind of adore Madman and Cassandra. These two are all kinds of dark, twisted and absolutely fascinating ~ especially since they have a strong moral code of their own and are too intelligent for their own good. Their journey is quite convoluted and, as you know, not done yet, but they just work for me. There is a flow to them, it may be obsessive and twisted, but it’s there and I cannot wait to see what it takes for them to get their unique HEA.
This is only my second read by the author, and as with the first, I still can’t believe it took me sooo long to dive into her words. The description does a very good job at giving you an idea of what you will encounter, but the reality is much more vibrant in its darkness and enthralling and I cannot wait to get my hands on the conclusion to Madman and Cassandra’s story!

Wow! How have I not read VF Mason before?!? This book is flipping awesome! It's dark and twisted with a sprinkle of love mixed in to give you hope that everything turns out right. You really feel for Cassandra and want her to get her vengeance and a happy ending but she'll be lucky to end up with even one. It is so well written that the plot twists leaving you craving more, needing to know what craziness happens next including the ending. I need the next book now!!

This is a heartbreaking tale of revenge for something atrocious, yet it is something so much more. I recommend anyone to go in blind and be prepared for a whopper of a twist and cliffhanger.

Can I rate this book?
The book did not flow well for me with the flash backs it became choppy. I was interested in the characters, but something seemed lacking. I am curious enough to finish the duet but fear that my temporary three stars my decrease instead of rising. Let us pray the author can rise like a Phoenix.....which by the way her editing team made some mistakes with if it truely was a pet name.

This is my very first read from V.F. Mason and I am sitting here DUMBFOUNDED as to how in the HELL I have not found her before now! This review is gonna be short and sweet ya’ll. There’s just no way I can do an in-depth review without giving away spoilers, and ruining the suspense, and OMG the suspense ya’ll! Told in multiple POV’s Madman’s Method is a dark and sinister story of pain, heartache, revenge, and vengeance!
There is a TRIGGER WARNING so, at the end of my review, I will be adding a “spoiler tag” for those of you who have triggers you may want to check it out. BUT it would be quite a big spoiler and WILL reveal Cassandra’s motives… Sooo, read that trigger warning at your own discretion guys!
When a new woman named Cassandra moves to town, she seems to know all the dirty secrets about everyone in town… and she’s determined to make them pay for the sins of their past.
But why does she look so familiar?
Who is this mysterious woman?
How does she know things about the town and the people in it that only those who grew up there would know?

Sorry, ya’ll that’s as much of a synopsis as I can give without giving away spoilers! Seriously this book is a MUST READ! Again, V. F. Mason is a new to me author so I wasn’t sure what to expect going into this one and OMG I am honestly blown away with this one! I loveee dark reads and this one was right up my ally! Really well written and had just enough twists and turns that it kept me right on the edge of my seat waiting to see what secret would be unveiled next!
The heroine, she’s a bad bitchhh! She wants revenge and she will stop at absolutely NOTHING to get it! No matter who she has to go through, or who gets hurt in the crossfire she will seek her vengeance against the ones who have wronged her!
The hero or, in this case, the anti-hero is a smokin hot alpha with enough darkness and crazy in him to make ya a little nervous but still, totally hot!
“Once upon a time, a madman desired an angel while her heart belonged to a saint. This time around though, our story will be different. This time, a madman will get his sinner and drag her into his world, revealing all his dark secrets to her that only she has the ability to withstand.”Just remember, the villain isn’t always the bad guy of the story…

There has been so much already revealed but yet there are still so many more secrets still left to unravel in the conclusion of the Madman’s Duet, Madman’s Curse! I can NOT wait until October, this one is a MUST READ!

I read many books from V.F Mason but this was one of her best. It was such a pleasure reading this… a masterpiece from the beginning to the end.

Holy 😱 mind games - breathe in - breathe out

If only Cassandra had heeded that warning
But vengeance can blind even the most stoic sinner or saint for that matter.
I felt lost during so much of this story. Not lost in the general sense more like ... I guess like Arianna and Cassandra - I was getting only parts of the whole I knew there was more but it kept eluding me.
We get flashbacks to Arianna's story which is the motive behind Cassandra's actions. She is such a kick-arse heroine! I loved her wit and her duck it attitude!
I want to toss in here real quick... So many of my favorites make cameos in this story!! Now back to Madman and Cassandra.
Madman * sigh* I always question at what point I connect (definition- I want to keep them) with the anti-hero for Madman it was the cabin - after that, it was all downhill with regards to his personality - but in that one moment I saw him- I believed I could save him...and it stuck.
There are so many little clues that I did not put together until it was too late. A few heart-stopping OMG moments that had me holding my breath, as well as a few that would have tugged at my heartstrings possibly causing me to shed a tear but I have to agree with Cassandra here - it wasn't like you didn't have it coming to you. Someone had to drive the Karma bus and in this instance, it just happens to be Cassandra... Maybe... Maybe not?
I am a Mason junkie - I won't even try to deny it. The way she twists the facts. The subtle nuances of her characters. How every story manages to have me questioning my own moral lines.
I love her work.

Oh my, what a horrible way to end my 2019's book journey.
If I'm not mistaken, this is my 6th book from V.F. Mason and I would like to declare that from now on, I will stay away from the author's work. Of all those book I've read from V.F. Mason, I either dnf it or gave it 1 star.
I was so invested and intrigued in the beginning because of the mystery surrounding what happened in the past but the whole story was dragged on for too long that I got bored and frustrated.
Cassandra?
I did liked her in the beginning because I thought she was a strong heroine but nah, I was severely mistaken. She planned this "revenge" of hers for 10 long years and what she came up with was stupid, I could plan a better and greater revenge in one day compared to what she planned in those 10 years. All she did was play mind games with them but even that was not remarkable or great.
Eudard?
Eudard is where things get sketchy for me. I really loved him throughout the book until the twist at the end. That twist cost him my love lol. I wouldn't say that I hate him after the twist but it's all so confusing and so we're back to zero.
Out of 100%, my curiosity to know exactly what's going on in this series is 0.1% and so it's safe to say that I have no intention to continue this series.

Woah... Hold on, why is this the first I have read by this author? This was incredible, it was everything I love about dark romances... And more... I did not know what to expect going into this, but I certainly was not disappointed.
When it comes to romance, I like almost everything but I am most in love with the darker side of it and Ms. Mason just blew my mind. Not only did she deliver an outstanding, heart-pounding, all-consuming, dark and dangerous romance, but she also delivered it flawlessly, her writing style was smoothe and it flowed easily and it made it so easy to get hooked, and fuck I was hooked. I devoured this in a matter of hours.
WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!?!
Holy god damn shit, my head is spinning... I didn't expect that ending. That twist? I'm in awe.
Cassandra was a treat to read, I found myself entwined and captivated with her story and the build-up, and when she and Madman connected it just intensified. It was dark, it was twisted, and it was mind-fuckingly beautiful in a messed up away. I couldn't get enough and I am so eager to see what is to come for these two because if this part of their story is anything to go by, the next is going to be just as epic.
Whatever you think you are about to read, I can tell you now, nothing will prepare you for what is to come in this book!
I am so glad I took a chance on this author, and I am stunned I hadn't until now. I can't recommend this book enough.

Not only did she deliver an outstanding, heart-pounding, all-consuming, dark and dangerous romance, but she also delivered it flawlessly, her writing style was smoothe and it flowed easily and it made it so easy to get hooked, and fuck I was hooked. I devoured this in a matter of hours.

Holy god damn shit, my head is spinning... I didn't expect that ending. That twist? I'm in awe.
Cassandra was a treat to read, I found myself entwined and captivated with her story and the build-up, and when she and Madman connected it just intensified. It was dark, it was twisted, and it was mind-fuckingly beautiful in a messed up away. I couldn't get enough and I am so eager to see what is to come for these two because if this part of their story is anything to go by, the next is going to be just as epic.
Whatever you think you are about to read, I can tell you now, nothing will prepare you for what is to come in this book!
I am so glad I took a chance on this author, and I am stunned I hadn't until now. I can't recommend this book enough.

This book is incredible!
Ms. Mason took me on one emotional heart pounding ride.
The deceit,the lies and the devastation leaves one destructive unrepairable outcome.
Like a tsunami that rolls in unexpectedly and wipes out everything in its wake.
That exactly what this authors delivers.
The plot she has woven is gut wrenching.
But she still leaves some room for hope or the slightest of sunlight in the darkness that swirls around The Madman and The Sinner.
The writing is exemplary!
The way she uses words and phrases is like magic coming off of the pages.
It’s vivid and descriptive it felt I was living and feeling everything going on.
Omg that cliffhanger!!
I wanted to cry because I needed the rest.
I highly recommend this book to all readers who love Ms. Masons work and to those that enjoy dark reads.
I also recommend not reading any reviews that contain spoilers.
Please believe me if you do then you will definitely not get to experience this book as it should be experienced 🖤

Okay so seriously VF Mason is one of my faves because i get all the serial killers to read about!
Starting this one was the same as all the other books that I’ve read by VF, once i got started it completely sucked me in!
I especially love all the scenes when the guys are killing people *totally awesome in my eyes*
Her books are always filled with twists and turns that keeps me on the edge of my seat!
And I’m always like WTF?!
Secondly damn all the sexy scenes be hot as hell!
I love all things dark and twisted and seriously this was no exception!!
I absolutely loved how the characters developed in here too! Cassandra is a fierce heroine who needs vengeance and lets not forget the dark, obsessed and broody alpha bad boy either!
If you guys love dark romances with a side of serial killers then this book is for you! I absolutely loved it! It does end in a cliffhanger so I cannot wait for book 2!

What a deliciously dark and twisted romance that hits all the dark desires, angsty feels, Vengeful acts, and jaw dropping mind games that this story brings forth. V.F. Mason is the mistress of dark romance and this is one of her best!!!!
I didn't know what to expect going into this book and the main characters- Cassandra and Madman- are ones that will entice while at the same time drawing the reader into their intense and dark interactions. As the plot played out, I was on the edge of my seat. I wanted to see how and what would become of Cassandra and Madman's twisted yet seemingly impossible romantic relationship. There are twists and turns that abound and the cliffhanger ending leave questions that won't be answered until book 2 comes out. All I can say is... this is such a beautifully twisted romance that will entice while bringing the pain. Loved every minute of it!!!

Madman's Method is a suspenseful thrill of a read. While it's long, it's not LOOOONNNNGGG, and it doesn't feel that way becuase you're always wondering what Cassandra or Eduard is going to do next.
A tale of a young girl in love with one of her best of friends, while the one in love with her watches from the sidelins, waiting to stake his claim. While Arianna's life falls apart due to the whims of her "best friend", Cassandra emerges from the flames, becoming Eduards phoenix.
The writing is great, the characterizations are fabulous...but the end. I love suspense, thrillers, mysteries. Throw in some well written sexy times and I'm in heaven...so to say I was floored when the ending came along is odd for me. lol I'm usually qicker on the uptake there. but I didn't even THINK that dastardly. Wasn't even LOOKING in that direction. Very well done!!

Alucinante de inicio a fin
Con esta autora en verdad yo no tengo palabras para describir lo consistente que son sus historias. En verdad, muchos de sus libros parecen repetir fórmula pero noup. Con cada nuevo capítulo va sacando nuevos giros y es difícil no enamorarse de toda la historia. Además, ahora que conozco más de su universo amo cuando ciertos personajes hacen apariciones.
En verdad, esta autora merece que se le conozca más tiene una tramas brutales que simplemente te dejan con ganas de seguir leyendo más historíe ella.

Oh. My. Goodness!! This book just blew me away! It was so dark and heartbreaking in spots, and you couldn't help but root for her vengeance. But there are questions, you only get bits and pieces of what happened so many years ago. We're spoon fed details of that night so long ago, and not everything you think you know is true. This book was everything! The ending will have you shocked, and needing the next book! I can't wait!!
